Characteristics:
Shape: It can be pear shaped, egg shaped or spherical. It has a large core from 3 to 5cm in diameter.
Color: Its color varies from green to brown, purple or black. The pulp is yellowish green.
Texture & Flavour: The pulp has a pasty consistence and a subtle, not sweet and distinctive flavor.
